Discovering the Path to Well-being

At the core of this exchange was a profound commitment to well-being. The Erasmus+ Programme, a champion of youth development, provided the foundation for this journey. The exchange revolved around five fundamental steps to well-being, which became the guiding principles for the participants: 'connect,' 'get active,' 'take notice,' 'learn,' and 'give.'

Through engaging activities and meaningful interactions, the young participants embarked on a quest to connect with themselves and others. They discovered the joys of physical activity, embraced mindfulness to take notice of life's wonders, and expanded their horizons through learning experiences. Each step was a building block in their journey toward enhanced well-being.

In the heart of the woodlands, these steps were not just concepts; they were experiences, etching the path to well-being in the hearts and minds of the participants.

Adventures in Nature: Conquering Leith Hill

One of the many highlights of the 'Way to Well-being' Youth Exchange was the unforgettable hike through the woodlands and the exhilarating ascent of Leith Hill. As a cherished UK National Trust site and the second-highest point in the southeast of England, Leith Hill offered awe-inspiring vistas of the English countryside.

The participants embarked on this challenging yet rewarding adventure, conquering not only the hill but also their inner doubts and limitations. The feeling of reaching the summit, where the English landscape stretched out as far as the eye could see, was a profound moment of achievement and connection with nature.

It was an experience that went beyond the physical; it was a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the resilience of youth. The 'Way to Well-being' Youth Exchange didn't just teach well-being; it let participants live it.
