Cultivating Skills and Nurturing Young Minds

Marylebone Bangladesh Society Collaborates with Dragon Eggs Digital for Skillful Interview Practice.

In a harmonious partnership, the Marylebone Bangladesh Society and Dragon Eggs Digital orchestrated an enriching afternoon for young girls, filled with engaging activities. The day's itinerary included ice-breaking and getting-to-know-each-other games and a session dedicated to honing the art of interview content creation.

Fostering collaboration, laughter and learning

During this unique experience, the young girls took the initiative to curate their own set of questions for their peer, Bad Bee. The chosen topic of discussion was none other than "shopping." With creativity and enthusiasm, the girls crafted thought-provoking inquiries, guided by their own curiosity.

Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as these budding interviewers delved into the world of interviewing techniques and engaging role-play exercises, resulting in an afternoon that was both educational and entertaining.

On the choice of her topic, Bad Bee stated:

"Instead of paying someone to give me therapy I’d rather buy stuff and keep the clothes, and then have the therapy at the same time. I think it's good for your mental health, and especially during lockdowns. We all need to look after our mental wellbeing. It’s the best way. Yeah, just live your life, go shopping!"

The Girls at MBS Interview Bad Bee

Girls: Where is your favourite place to shop?

Bad Bee: When I get my money up, it is going to be Selfridges, but for the time being its Church Street - they have the best prices. Every Saturday go to Church Street and support local businesses.

Girls: What is your favourite piece of clothing to buy?

Bad Bee: I like hoodies. Yeah…I like hoodies.

Girls: Why?

Bad Bee: Because I’m a baddie, like I don’t like gangstas, 'cos if I wear t-shirt I keep getting stares, do you know what I mean? Sometimes I like to be a normal person in a hoodie, it just makes me normal.

Girls: What is your favourite animal?

Bad Bee: Kids… Just kidding. I like jaguars. I also like the cars. Yeah, my favourite.

Girls: Do you like to shop?

Bad Bee: Dah!

Girls: Would you rather wear wireless glasses or glasses with wires?

Bad Bee: Well, it’s a sensitive topic. I like wireless glasses. It’s like the current trend.

Girls: What’s your hobby?

Bad Bee: Just being a bad bee, like. Yeah, nothing else to say.

Girls: What is your budget while shopping?

Bad Bee: It depends. If my dad is giving me money its ten bags. If mum’s giving me money its twenty bags. Nah, I’m joking! I don’t know, I just save up money.

Girls: Why don't you shop for glasses if you like shopping?

Bad Bee: My glasses aren't broken, they are wireless. So, I don't need to shop for glasses, cos I already have wireless glasses.

Girls: What is your favourite place to go?

Bad Bee: I like to go Morocco on the weekends, every weekend. Sometimes Venice, sometimes Paris. But, cos I’m a bad bee I like going Morocco cos it reminds me of where I’m from. It reminds me of my roots.

Girls: Why did you flop at art?

Bad Bee: I don’t need art, because I have the money, I have the means to buy art from the creators. So, I’ve never really had an interest in art, cos I like buying the art. But all of you bums you don’t do that, so you learn how to do the art, thank you very much.

Girls: Would you rather be 6'5" or 4'9"?

Bad Bee: 6'5"! What kind of a question is that?
